On one evening this week, I attended a short film festival at the Exeter Phoenix centre, which was a two night experience showing national and international award winning short films that we would nominate to be the overall winner of an international film competition.
Although I chose to do a music video, rather than a short film, seeing incredible pieces of art through film, made for an inspirational and influential evening. Being able to view young and new film makers showing off their work using low budget equipment was fantastic to see and gave Eddie and I a lot of excitement towards creating our own video.
These videos also influenced our own piece giving us ideas of shots and camera angles to use, especially as one particular video was set in a war featuring young people, which was very topical for us - this film especially inspired our video.
